High performance, quality and safe ingredients are our priority.


No animal ingredients

None of our ingredients are derived directly from animals.

Plant oils and extracts

We love plant oils and extracts and use them at levels that really make a difference.

Not SPF creams

Currently our day creams are not SPF approved. However, we do include zinc oxide, which is a mineral sunscreen ingredient, which reflect rather than absorb the sun’s UVA and UVB rays.


We do use preservatives when absolutely essential for product safety. We use relatively low concentrations of broad-spectrum preservatives.

Free from

Parabens, mineral oil, synthetic colorants.

Not tested on animals

None of the products made are tested on animals.

Argan oil

Argan Oil (Argania spinosa)
Rich in omega 6 essential fatty acids, which stimulate, protect and regenerate the skin, helping to make it soft, supple and elastic. Helps the skin to heal. Idea for damaged or mature skins.

Avocado oil used in Velveteen Body Cream

Avocado oil (Persia Gratissima)
Rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, D, and E and lecithin and potassium. Excellent for sun-damaged, dehydrated or undernourished skin.


Bees wax

Beeswax (Cera Alba)
Acts as a natural emollient, leaving the skin soft, conditioned and feeling healthier.

Black Pepper essential oil

Organic Black Pepper Essential Oil (Piper Nigrum Seed Oil)
Has a warm, fresh and spicy aroma. This fragrance is of strength and fortitude. Provides inspiration.


Borage Seed Oil (Borago Officinalis)
Borage helps to improve skin flexibility and is particularly useful for mature or sensitive skin. Borage contains Gamma Linolenic Acid, (GLA), which is an essential fatty acid for the skin.


Castor oil helps moisturise the skin with the aid of Ground Apricot Stones to gently exfoliate the skin

Castor oil (Ricinus Communis Seed Oil)
Extracted from the seeds of the castor plant, castor oil is a natural emollient. Softens and soothes dry, damaged skin.

Cera bellina

Cera Bellina (Polyglycerol-3 Beeswax)
An alternative form of beeswax, where its natural fatty acids have been converted to polyglycerols esters. Imparts a smooth, silky feeling on skin and hair.

Ceteareth 20

An emulsifier, derived from coconut oil, this ingredient imparts an emollient feel to the skin.

Cetearyl alcohol

Cetearyl alcohol
This is an emulsifier, derived from coconut oil. It is a gentle ingredient, ideal for sensitive skins. The word alcohol, when used in relation to the ingredients in cosmetic chemistry is different to the fermented alcohol you find in beverages and shouldn’t be confused.

Cocoa butter

Cocoa butter (Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter)
Cocoa butter contains excellent healing and restoring abilities, with it traditionally being used to soothe dry and damaged skin. Cocoa butter contains the ability to promote skin elasticity, lock in vital moisture and protect the skin from the elements.

Coconut oil

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil
Coconut oil is a gentle oil and perfect for sensitive skin, creating a nourishing, oily barrier to trap moisture and protect the skin from the elements.  Although oily, it does not clog pores and sinks into the skin quickly.

Crambe Seed Oil

Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil
Comprising of high levels of erucic acid which gives shine and gloss to dull and lifeless skin. Also contains lipids, which are essential for the skin. Promotes skin suppleness and softness.


Emulsifying wax

Emulsifying wax (Cetearyl Alcohol and Polysorbate 60)
Helps to condition skin with its naturally emolliency. Gentle on the skin.

Evening primrose oil

Organic Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis)
One of the best sources of Gamma Linoleic Acid, an essential Omega 6 fatty acid with anti-inflammatory properties. Acts as a powerful moisturising and anti-wrinkle agent. Rich in Vitamin E.



Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) oil
Frankincense has the ability to strengthen skin and improve its tone, elasticity, defense mechanisms against bacteria or blemishes, and appearance as someone ages. It helps tone and lift skin, reduces appearance of scars and acne, and heals wounds. 


Glycerel stearate

Glycerel stearate
An emulsifier derived from vegetable oils, which imparts a soft and silky feel of the product to the skin.


Draws water to the skin and is a wonderful emollient. Non-irritating and a soothing moisturiser, that not only boosts skin elasticity but it contains anti-bacterial and softening properties making it an ideal for sensitive skin.

Grapefruit seed extract

Grapefruit seed extract (Citrus Grandis Extract)
Powerful antioxidant-packed extract.


Oats make hydrolysed oat protein and oat lipid oil

Hydrolysed oats infusion
Consists of infused oats and oligosaccharides, which is incredibly good for skin care, as it moisturises, softens and creates a protection film on the skin. This protein also helps to reduce the signs of aging by adding a large amount of hydration to the skin.


Jasmine flowers produce jasmine oil

Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum Officinale Flower Extract)
An uplifting scent, the aromatic effect of jasmine oil stimulates the release of certain hormones in the body, including serotonin, which results in the boost of energy and the uplifted mood. Aids dry or dehydrated skin.

Jojoba oil

Organic Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil)
Jojoba oil, a naturally derived liquid wax contains Vitamin E, B-complex vitamins, silicon, chromium, copper and zinc and fatty acids, which sinks into the skin with ease. Jojoba oil is unique, as when it is absorbed by the skin it penetrates through the hair follicles instead of coating the skin, allowing the skin to “breathe”.

Jojoba butter contains protein, minerals, Vitamin E and fatty acids, as well as a highly beneficial waxy substance similar to collagen. A natural skin plumper!

Jojoba wax

Jojoba wax (Hydrogenated vegetable oil – Simmondsia Chinensis Oil – Tocopherol)
Jojoba wax is naturally derived with beneficial fatty acids, vitamins and minerals – much like jojoba oil – in a solid form. It is an eco-friendly, biodegradable and a gentle wax. Jojoba oil contains vitamin E, B-complex vitamins and the minerals silicon, chromium, copper and zinc, making it incredibly nourishing and beneficial for all skin types and dry, coarse, frizzy, flyaway hair.


Linden Blossom

Linden Blossom Absolute essential oil (Tilia vulgaris)
A sweet, floral, light, green floral aroma. Linden is the essence of love and compassion.


Macadamia nuts produce macadamia nut oil

Macadamia Nut Oil (Macadamia ternifolia)
Contains a high level of palmitoleic acid, which reduces as we age. Protects the skin and slows down the ageing process. Excellent for dry and mature skins and those that have difficulty retaining moisture

Mandarin Peel

Organic Mandarin Orange essential oil (Citrus Nobilis Peel Oil)
A light, floral citrus aroma. An essential oil with sprightliness yet gentle.

Meadowfoam oil

Meadowfoam oil (Limnanthes Alba)
Meadowfoam locks in the skin’s natural moisture to help prevent dryness and soften the skin. The oil has natural ultraviolet protection.


Neroli blossom flowers

Neroli (Citrus Aurantium Amara Flower)
A refreshing floral aroma to help uplift your mood and emotions, which helps to repair and rejuvenate skin.

Neroli has the most highest vibration, brings light into any day.


Oats produce hydrolysed oat infusion and oat lipid oil

Oat Lipid Oil (Avena sativa kernel)
With rich ceramides and fatty acids, Oat Lipid Oil penetrates the epidermis, while nourishing and moisturising the skin. Offers long lasting hydration, while leaving the skin soft, supple and radiant. Supports the skin’s natural barrier function and slows down the signs of ageing.

Olives produce olive oil and olive squalene

Olive (Olea Europae) oil
High in oleic acid and vitamin E, olive oil an excellent natural emollient oil allows skin to breathe and continue to generate sebum naturally. Olive oil possesses numerous natural benefits such as the ability to soothe inflamed or dry skin, due to its powerful moisture-locking abilities. Aids in skin regeneration, such as healing sun damaged skin, thanks to the naturally-occurring chlorophyll, oleuropein and squalane which helps not only repair damaged cells but also boosts their renewal.

It provides the skin with moisture and nutrients but imitating its natural sebum, helping to reduce the effects of weather damage, such as sun burns or dryness from cold weather and helps to restore the skin’s natural elasticity and moisture – all whilst boosting the skin’s cell renewal rate!


Pomegranates produce pomegranate seed oil

Pomegranate Oil (Punica granatum linn)
Contains punicic fatty acid, when combined with all of the other beneficial properties, aids in skin regeneration, cell renewal and helps repair damaged skin.Pomegranate Seed Oil is high in antioxidants, balances skin PH, revitalises ageing skin and restores skin elasticity.

Pseudo collagen - a yeast derivative

Pseudo collagen
Our Pseudo Collagen is extracted from the intra-cellular matrix from yeast cells in a water-soluble form. Imparts greater elasticity, affords excellent moisturising properties and gives the skin a supple and healthy appearance.


Rose oil

Rose essential oil (Rosa damascena)
Rose oil is one of the top essential oils. For the skin it is a tonic, heals scars, is anti-depressant and calming. On an emotional level, this beautiful oil encourages contentment, happiness, inner freedom, acceptance, patience and love.

Rosehip oil

Rosehip Seed Oil (Rosa canina seed)
Rosehip contains Vitamin A, which replenishes and rebuilds skin tissue and may reduce fine lines around the eyes and wrinkles. Helps to soothe skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.


Rosemary essential (Rosmarinus Officinalis) oil
Rosemary essential oil has a multitude of benefits for not just the skin but the hair too.  It is an antiseptic, antidepressant and an decongestant.  Also gives a shine to hair. On an emotional level, it encourages energy, upliftment, confidence and concentration.


Rosemarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract
This extract is not only packed with natural preserving anti-oxidants but acts as a natural and effective skin treatment for mature or dried out skin.



Sandalwood essential oil (Santalum Spicata Wood Oil)
Warm, rich and soft woody aroma. Brings wisdom and strength of convinction.

Harvested sustainably.

Shea butter

Shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii)
Protects and heals the skin especially dry and damaged. Protects the skin from the sun and from drying out. Good for skin prone to eczema and psoriasis. Excellent softening properties and makes the skin soft and supple.

Stearic acid

Stearic acid
Is a naturally-occurring fatty acid. Imparts a thin, protective layer over the hair and skin, helping to prevent damage from free radicals and other environmental factors such as harsh cold, wind and sun.

Sweet almond oil

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis)
A mild and non-irritating oil, which is easily absorbed by the skin to leave it soft, smooth and supple.  Soothes itchy. Gentle enough to help with eczema, psoriasis and acne creams. Contains naturally occurring vitamin E.


Vanilla absolute or vanilla essential oil

Vanilla Absolute essential oil (Vanilla Planifolia Fruit)
A wonderful anti-depressant, antioxidant, aphrodisiac and relaxing oil.  Vanilla essential oil also helps you to get good night’s sleep as well. This is due to the sedative and relaxing properties of this oil. It lowers blood pressure and has a tranquilizing effect on the brain that makes it hard to keep your eyelids open.

Vitamin B3 also known as Niacinamide

Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide)
Soothing and anti-inflammatory, relieves redness as in rosacea, dry or irritated skin. Improves skin moisturisation and reduces transepidermal water loss. Increases skin elasticity.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate)
Helps to lighten the skin, even skin tone and reducing the appearance of acne scars and age spots. Through the stimulation of collagen production, Vitamin C increases the skin’s firmness, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin E oil

Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
Can help to protect the skin from UV damage, as well as improving skin texture and moisture content. This oil is vital to the protection and preservation of skin, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.


Zinc oxide

Zinc oxide
A white powdered mineral, used as a natural sunscreen in cosmetics and works by reflecting harmful UVA and UVB radiation.  Also helps the skin to heal.
